Well I have always been pro-choice, but it makes me think a little more. I do think that abortion should be legal for the women who aren't supposed to have kids for medical reasons. Some believe abortion is ok for rape victims; however I think the child shouldn't suffer. Meaning adoption, or if you keep it look at it as a blessing to a bad experience.

Before I saw pictures of aborted babies...I was neutral about abortion. I thought that women were aborting clumps of tissue that weren't yet babies. What I saw was NOT clumps of tissue...they were small babies, developing. Then I read the different types of abortion, and it made me realize how inhumane and cruel the act truly is.

The images prove that the media and pro-choice people lie. We are taught that babies 3-9 weeks are really not babies and have not yet began to form, when I saw these pictures I was totally shocked to see that those babies are already little people.

It has had a tremendous effect on me. Novemember of 2001 I had an abortion and not a day goes by that i don't punish myself in someway. The websites picture makes me relive my pain and the regret of my selfishness,and the weight my heart carries for basically killing my child who was nothing but innocent to my actions.

I have never actually seen the horror. I have faced it though and want to save just one baby, one mommy, and one daddy from my nightmare.

The pictures were horribly graphic. I never realized or pictured how hurtful and wrong abortions can be. I am so confused now. It seems inconceivable to me that anyone could view these pictures and not be emotionally and spiritually moved. What I find shocking is that the question is always framed in terms of the mother's rights and not the unborn child's... to that end I would suggest that the moment at which a "fetus" can feel pain and exhibits emotional responses such as distress, is the moment at which a woman loses her right to choice and assumes her legal obligations as a mother...

I must now confront philosophical issues I have been avoiding. I will attempt to understand both sides of the issue before (if) I change my opinion.
