It was great talking to you the other day. Clearly, GAP is an effective means of breaking the pattern of denial which prevents people from thinking critically about abortion. By following through with a distribution of Hope and Healing, our newspaper insert on post-abortion trauma and healing, we hope to take advantage of the window of opportunity GAP will have created to expand on the effectiveness of your project. Through Hope and Healing, we will not only encourage post-abortion healing and an understanding of abortion's negative impact on women, men, and families, we will also be showing the college community that pro-lifers really do care about women just as much as we care about their unborn children. The truth, of course, is that we care about the welfare of women far more than the other side.

I'm convinced that after GAP has reopened the debate on abortion in a college community the interest level and effectiveness of Hope and Healing will be doubled or even trebled. When we follow through in a timely fashion with convincing evidence of how abortion hurts women and men, it is my hope that our project will also increase the effectiveness of GAP by making it less likely that after you leave people will reharden their hearts to the unborn child for the pragmatic but ill-informed reason that "abortion helps women".

These two truths, abortion unjustly destroys an innocent human life and abortion does not help women, men and families but instead makes their problems worse, are both critical to changing minds and hearts. By conveying these messages with hearts of compassion, we will also be saving countless souls. I look forward to working with you to bring these messages to our college campuses.
