I never really had a strong opinion one way or the other about abortion. I never really thought it was right, but I wasn't sure if I thought it should be illegal. After I saw your trucks driving around my town I got on your website and cannot believe what I saw. This is in no way right [abortion] and should be stopped. — 18 yr. old female from Carlisle, PA

I never really saw how the babies look after being aborted. Now I know, and I will never do it, ever. -- 17 yr. old female from Liberty, MO

At first, I thought [abortion] didn't matter. In some situations I thought it would be ok, like if a 13 year old girl got pregnant and couldn't care for it. Then I saw this [abortionNO.org], and talked to my friends, and we just thought, "then put it up for adoption!" Thanks for changing my mind, in a good way!— 13 yr. old female from Brighton, MI

I thought my girlfriend was pregnant and wanted her to get an abortion. Looking at these pics on this website, I think it would be wrong to abort a child when you can see features like fingers and toes even at 6 weeks.— 20 yr. old male from Australia

I have lots of friends my age that end up pregnant … and usually I tell them, have an abortion, no biggie, but after looking at this, I cried my eyes out for those innocent lives I helped destroy and I will do all I can to stop abortion.— 16 yr. old female from Richmond, VA

I was completely pro-choice before viewing the website. Even though I knew personally I could never have an abortion. Now after viewing the site I don't think anyone should be able to choose to have an abortion.— 21 yr. old female from Hampton, VA

I used to be pro-choice, but those images are so disturbing and heart-wrenching that I do not believe in abortion anymore. — 17 yr. old female from Florida

I used to think [abortion] was OK. Now, after seeing pictures, it's the saddest thing I've ever seen. — 16 yr. old female from Baltimore, MD

I used to think abortion was "okay" in certain circumstances (rape, etc.). Now I feel that abortion is very, very wrong--no matter what the case. — 15 yr. old female from North Carolina

Update: New Billboard Over Columbus Abortion Clinic

The NEW pro-life billboard is now up directly above a Columbus abortion facility. We hope to display the billboard above the abortion center for as long as the facility is killing babies. The message has been strengthened from the last billboard we displayed to include a picture of an 8 week unborn baby. Undoubtedly, this sign will save babies from abortion. We still need $315.00 more per month to pay the rent. CBR Midwest would like to sign a 6 month agreement in order to freeze out others from renting the space but we need your help.

Can you think of a better way to save babies than to have a message delivered to every parent entering this abortion facility? Please help us financially.

  • Your gift of $715.00 pays for one entire month of rent for the 24/7 witness of the billboard
  • Your gift of $315.00 per month makes up the difference between committed donations and the need per month.
  • Your gift of $150.00 per month pays for half of the re-design of the NEW billboard.
  • Your gift of $75.00 pays for 3 days of display time for the billboard.

It is like having a pro-life counselor on duty 24 hours a day. The billboard is a very visible statement of the Columbus Christian community's commitment to the pre born.

Who Is Your Neighbor?

Luke 10:25-29 says:

A lawyer stood up and put Him [Jesus] to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” And He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How does it read to you?” And he answered, “YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL

YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND; AND YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”

And He said to him, “You have answered correctly; DO THIS AND YOU WILL LIVE.”

But wishing to justify himself, he said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

Don’t make excuses like the lawyer in the story for not helping the powerless. It matters little to the unborn if you say your are pro-life. What matters to them is whether you will be willing to change the way you live to defend them. Feeling compassion is not the same as showing compassion.

Invite Mark Harrington of the Center for Bio Ethical Reform to speak at your church, small group, or men’s/woman’s group. Mark will answer the question “Who is your neighbor?” in a inspiring way and help equip you to defend the innocent. Contact Mark at 614-759-5195.
