NAMPA WOMAN DRIVES CAR THROUGH ANTI-ABORTION RALLY
Sunday Mar 5, 2006

NAMPA, Idaho (AP) -- A Nampa woman says a photo of an aborted fetus prompted her to drive her car into an anti-abortion rally.

52-year-old Gail Mower of Nampa ran over the foot of a woman trying to protect a sign with the photo.

The woman was not hurt.

Police say Mower had called police earlier in the day and asked to have the sign removed.

Mower says that since no action had been taken, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

She says she wanted to protect nearby school children from seeing the sign.

Police issued her a citation for disturbing the peace.
