Choice for Life - About the Author

Dr. Keith Beutler is an Assistant Professor of History at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis.  He is no stranger to the high school classroom, having been an instructor of history and Bible at two Christian high schools and for a home-school consortium.  He holds concurrent B.A. degrees in history and philosophy from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, an M.Ed. from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, an M.A. in history from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and a Ph.D. in history from Washington University in St. Louis.
 
Keith's teaching awards include listing in multiple editions of "Who's Who Among American Teachers" and an "Outstanding Young Educator of the Year" award from the Jackson, Tennessee, Jaycees.  At two separate Christian high schools, Senior classes who had sat under his teaching selected him as their commencement speaker.
 
Keith lives in St. Louis with his wife Melissa and their two children, both of whom they adopted through crisis pregnancy centers of the sort that stand ready to help birth mothers to make a choice for life.
