Using Graphic Images in Public

CBR is often criticized for the public display of graphic abortion images. Children, some people argue, should never be exposed to violent pictures. While CBR does what it can to minimize such exposure, it should be noted that mainstream media outlets often resort to the public display of violent pictures when such imagery is necessary to the news they are covering. These disturbing images are often seen by our children on television, on the front pages and covers of the newspapers and magazines delivered into our homes and on the covers of the news magazines featured in the magazine racks near the cash registers at every grocery store to which virtually every parent in America takes their children. The posts on this page are examples of this harsh reality. So long as America accepts the practice of abortion, CBR will continue to show America pictures of abortion.

Sgt. Charles Graner posing over dead body of detainee Manadel a-Jamadi in Abu Ghraib prison

Picture obtained by ABC News and released May 19, 2004 shows a man identified as Sgt. Charles Graner posing over the body of detainee Manadel a-Jamadi in Abu Ghraib prison. According to testimony from Spc. Jason Kenner, obtained by ABC News, the man was brought to the prison by US Navy Seals in good health. Kenner said he saw extensive bruising on the detainee's body when he was brought out of the showers, dead. Kenner says the body was packed in ice during a battle between CIA and military interrogators over who should dispose of the body.

“[CBR's Gregg] Cunningham recently presented this compelling message during our Sunday service and it was one of the most stirring days in our 15 years in this church. Countless people expressed gratitude for letting the truth come out as it really is. One young lady was in the bathroom crying and one of our teenagers asked it everything was O.K. She responded, ‘If I had seen this video, I would have never had an abortion and neither would six of my girlfriends."
