From: “Lois Cunningham Date: April 9, 2009 12:50:39 AM PDT To: <proposedrescission@hhs.gov> Subject: Rescission Proposal – Retain the conscience clause   Health and Human Services US Government To Whom It May Concern: I am writing you on behalf of The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform regarding the Rescission Proposal.  We strongly urge you to retain the conscience clause of the December 19, 2008 federal regulation. It is imperative that health care professionals never be forced to chose between violating their consciences and risking the loss of their jobs. CBR Continues To Educate the Fighting Irish

Dear Pro-Life Friends, Here are some of the stories coming out of South Bend as a result of CBR making abortion impossible to ignore or trivialize on the ground and in the skies at the Notre Dame campus.  Please pass this news on to your pro-life friends and encourage them to help out by making a donation to CBR. http://www.wndu.com/home/headlines/43820087.html http://www.fox28.com/Global/story.asp?S=10258724# http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/04/29/plane-carrying-abortion-banner-appears-over-notre-dame-campus Don

What about the young children that could be present?  How will their parents deal with their children’s emotional

The Church on Slavery And the Church on Abortion

After a meeting last month with two pastors from a local church,an analogy that came to my mind that I want to share with you. The counseling pastor (who never smiled and was clearly unhappy to be meeting with us) told us we had no idea what they were doing as a church in response to abortion. In my recollection, he only relayed three things he and/or the church is doing: he mentioned he had recently attended a fundraising banquet for a local pregnancy help center, he also discussed the counseling they offer to women who have aborted in the
